Since the OMPowerment team came together in 2017 as a group of activist yogis with a drive to change the world by working for global well-being equity, our focus has been global. ⁠COVID-19 has both reminded us of the need for this important work everywhere, including in our own communities. Over the past two years, we have turned inward as an organization to focus on the demand for our work locally, in our own neighborhoods. ⁠

While implementing rigid ethical standards to protect those we wish to serve, we intend to resume later this year, beginning here, in Los Angeles.⁠ We have an amazing team of inspirational folks here in LA who have come together to support communities throughout the city that have been left out of traditional healing and wellness spaces.

We are currently working with several organisations - including those serving refugee, unhoused, incarcerated, and at risk youth populations - to launch new projects. Stay tuned to learn more as these plans are finalised and implemented!
