Every amount helps us achieve our goal of empowering refugees worldwide to lead themselves in the healing practice of trauma-informed yoga. We aim to keep training costs low through close collaboration with local partners, and programs sustainable by sourcing as much as we can from local economies. Training costs cover mats, bilingual manuals, notebooks, and pens for all trainees; daily tea, water, and snacks, such as fruit; travel costs for facilitators; venue hire costs, where applicable; translation, where applicable; and local transport costs for community facilitators.
How is the money used?
Our programming is entirely dependent on donations.
100% of all contributions received goes directly towards managing trauma-informed trainings in refugee communities worldwide.
Training costs include:
Mats and manuals for trainees
Tea and snacks during the training
Translation fees and small stipends for local community hosts to cover transport
Venue hire for the training, if necessary
Basic travel costs for volunteers

How we have structured fundraising efforts in the past:
£20 Sponsors a bilingual training manual for one trainee
£35 Sponsors mat and manual for one trainee
£50 Sponsors mat, manual, and meals for one trainee
£150 Sponsors snacks and tea for one training group
£300 Sponsors all costs for one refugee to complete training
£3000 Sponsors one, one-week training
Donation and Sponsorship Options
We are grateful to all of our sponsors to date who have provided us with the funding needed to share our work with refugee communities in three countries. This funding has allowed us to develop and expand our projects, and to reach new communities.
To date, our fundraising has been project specific, with a budgeted target needed to fund programming one training at a time. We are looking for sponsors with the desire and capacity to commit to sponsorship, either paid monthly or annually, as a fixed sum or a percentage of profit. This level of funding would allow us to better plan for future projects and to develop our trauma informed trainings for both refugee communities and for facilitators interested in working with us.
